Phew! It’s been one of those days! Ah, who am I kidding? It’s been one of those years! You know what will make my life just a bit easier? Simple treats. I don’t think it gets much easier than Chocolate Dipped Cherries.

However, these chocolate cherries are all dressed up for Halloween! I found some orange Roland Cherriesir?t=psbusa23 20&l=as2&o=1&a=B001SAUT2A and knew they would be perfect for a fun, quick, and easy snack.

These would be great to add to a cake or cupcakes. Place them on your Halloween treat table or just enjoy them as it. That’s what I did.
I’m all about easy these days. What about you? Do you need something just to be easy for a change? I think my life needs a Staples “that was easy” button.

Wanna know what else is easy? Letting the Jones’ win. I’ve given up on keeping up the the Jones’. They can have their haunted house and 50 pumpkins stacked up and displayed in the front porch with the hay bales and corn stalks. I’m happy I have one pumpkin and my black cat out.

I used to do it up! Put up the Halloween lights and decorations. I just can’t do it again. I’ve got to save up for Christmas decorating… It’s a lot of work to take down the everyday stuff then put up the seasonal decor only to take it all down and put it away again.

Yep! Simple and easy is my new thing! I’m gonna go with it! Enjoy!

    Total Time 35 minutes

    Ingredients

    • Cherries – Orange Colored are great for Halloween
    • Chocolate Candy Disks
    • Halloween Sprinkles

    Instructions

    1. Drain and dry the cherries as much as possible. Leave them on a paper towel to dry for several hours to get the excess juice off of them.
    2. Melt the chocolate candy disks for 1 minute in the microwave. Stir until smooth. You can use chocolate chips, but they may not harden as well.
    3. Dip the cherry into the chocolate and gently shake off the excess. Dunk it into the sprinkles and place on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.
    4. Place in the fridge to harden and then serve.
