I love a good 7 Layer Magic Bar! The flavors and textures – the sweet and salty – the coconut and candy! It’s all amazing! And it was even MORE amazing when I made them with Mint Chocolate Candies. Whoa! These Mint Chocolate Magic Bars might not be the prettiest dessert, but they sure were delicious!
They have a graham cracker base, some oats, coconut, and four different types of chocolate and peppermint candies. I’ve died and gone to heaven with extra stretchy yoga pants!

I wasn’t joking about these not being the prettiest desserts. The sweetened condensed milk that holds these bars together turned more brown than I anticipated. If you’re making this, I’m going to suggest adding the milk then adding the final layer of of the peppermint M&M’s.

I also wasn’t joking about needing those fat pants. I ate more than 50% of these bars! I’d walk by and break off a piece throughout the day. Ya know, you tend to eat way more than anticipated or intended when you just have a “bite now and then”. sheesh!

If you’re fond of Seven Layer Bars or Magic Bars and chocolate mint desserts, then you’ve got to make these! I mean, they are kinda one of the best treats around. I’m totally biased, but whatever. Just make them, enjoy them, love them as I have 🙂
