Add batter into each cup to fill about ⅔ of the way. Add one mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cup to the centers of the batter. Then cover with a little more batter. Let the aebelskivers cook for a minute until tiny bubbles begin to show on the surface and the edges look like they are setting a bit.
Using a chop stick and small dual prong fork, slide the dough on its side. the uncooked batter will spill out into the center to cook. Once you have turned them all on their sides (they will look like clam shells), then continue to flip them all the way over. You need to keep them moving to prevent burning. Remove from the pan and keep warm until ready to serve.
Top with powdered sugar, melted chocolate, whipped cream, etc.
This recipe made a lot of aebleskiver! Mix up the fillings. There will be plenty for everyone!
