Welcome Fall! And welcome to my belly, Apple Spice Almond Brownies! I am a brownie eating fool. Do you like cake-like brownies or thick and fudgy one?
The fudgy, almost truffle-like ones, are my favorite. However, I would never turn down a cakey one :).
I love this easy brownie recipe that’s actually made using a Devil’s Food Cake mix. It’s super easy and the frosting that you see is like a soft, moist, fluffy, baked meringue frosting!
And then I went and added some apple pie spiced coated almonds on top! They were divine!
Easy. Delicious. Perfect for a crowd.

Cook Time: 30
Keywords: almond chocolate brownies
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350℉.
Make the frosting according to the directions on the box. (FYI – This is like Marshmallow Fluff and 7 minute icing combined. It it so good!)
Combine the cake mix, melted butter and eggs in a bowl and stir to combine. It will be thick! Spread it out in a 9×13 pan.
Add the frosting to the center of the pan, do not let it touch the sides of the pan.
Sprinkle on the almonds. Bake or 25 minutes.
The brownies and frosting will puff up while baking but then sink down again when cool.
