    Prep Time: 5 minutes
    Keywords: fruit strawberry popsicle pudding

    Ingredients
    • 1 box of instant pudding + milk required
    • Fresh Fruit – I used Strawberries and Blackberries
    Instructions
Make your instant pudding according to the instructions.
Wash, dry and cut your fruit into bite sized pieces.
Find cute paper cups or small ice cream containers. place the fruit around the edge of the cup and carefully fill up with pudding. My containers came with wooden spoons and lids. I punched a hole in a lid and inserted the spoon for a handle. If you’re using dixie cups, add a layer of foil over top and insert plastic spoons for the handles.
    Freeze overnight.
Remove the lids or foil and rip off the paper liners. Enjoy after your waterballoon fight.

Do you allow the kids to “help” you or are you like me and just want to get the food made without the extra hands in the kitchen? Most of the time, my kid isn’t interested in the how to make something, she just wants to know what I am making. I do try to get her to help from time to time, but she’s not exactly into it… She can peel carrots and gather ingredients for cookies though – so there’s that.
I just dread the mess that she makes. I know she won’t learn if she doesn’t crack a few eggs, but sometimes I just don’t want to deal with it. Maybe I’m a lazy mom, but I really don’t enjoy cleaning up the messes that my kid makes. And she really hates cleaning up the messes that she makes – lol!
Maybe that’s what I need to tackle first – her cleaning up skills. Then we can start in on proper knife techniques and how to make a pie crust.
Oh, one of these day…. I’m a patient mama.
