Prepare a 9 x 9 dish with a layer of foil and spray the foil with non-stick spray. Preheat the oven to 350 deg. F.
Put the chopped chocolate pieces and butter into a small saucepan and melt over medium low heat. Once it's smooth and completely melted, stir in the sugar. It will be like wet sand.
Add the eggs one at a time and stir it until it's incorporated before adding the next one. Finally add in the vanilla.
In a separate bowl, mix the three dry ingredients. Add the flour mixture to the melted mixture and fold over until combined. Add in chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25 - 30 minutes. Cool in the pan and remove the brownies by lifting up on the foil.
NOTE - If you are using the individual square pan, simply spray the pan with non-stick spray with flour. Use an ice cream scoop to measure out the batter so that they bake up evenly. I got 10 brownies plus a half one.
