Oatmeal in a Jar

    PS+Oatmeal+in+a+Jar
Disaster struck in the kitchen a while back!
I ran out of Biscoff Spread!! I was so sad that there was no more in the container to sneak off to and enjoy a spoonful at my leisure.
I posted this picture on Instagram and Heather gave me the wonderful suggestion – Make Oatmeal in a Jar.
What?? What is that? I’ve never heard of that??
So, she told me to do the following…

Make some oatmeal.  I made Bob’s Red Mill Quick Oatmeal.
Gather some ingredients.  I added a heaping tablespoon of brown sugar and a handful of chocolate chips.

Mix them up in the jar. I put the cooked oatmeal into the Biscoff jar and allowed the heat to melt the spread inside.
Added the brown sugar and mix.
Added the chocolate chips and give a quick stir.

Eat from the jar… or pour it back into the bowl like I did and enjoy!
Now, I really was not planning on blogging about this, but this was such a good idea that I just had to share it. It can be adapted for peanut butter and nutella as well. Just change the fixings to suit your mood.
    It was so good!!
You really should try it the next time your jar of yummy spread goes “empty”.
