OMG! I threw out my back last Monday. The entire week was spent in pain and pretty much in a prone position. There were many pills taken, swear words yelled at nobody, and ice cream to make me feel better. I wanted to just lay in bed and pretend that my kid could take care of herself, but instead, I got up and got her to school. I also got to the chiropractor who helped, but I think that just seven days of just letting go, like really letting go of the dishes, the cooking, the cleaning, the laundry, the pets, and everything else that goes along with being a mom, I’m finally feeling like myself again. Have you ever thrown your back out? It’s just the worst, isn’t it? One sneeze and I’m paralyzed all over again. Ugh!
