What Kind of Root Beer Can I Use?

If you are going to make this Alcoholic root beer float, you might be wondering what kind of root beer you can use. If you are going to use a non-alcoholic root beer, I prefer to use IBC root beer. It has a nice flavor to it and will make your root beer float taste amazing.

How Do You Eat a Root Beer Float?

Since this is an adult beverage and a dessert all in one, how does one enjoy this adult drink? Some of you may choose to drink it through a straw and others may choose to use a spoon.

As being the one that tested this recipe, I can tell you that it goes down smoothly and you will not be disappointed.

Is Vodka Good with Root Beer?

Some genius people came up with the term “voot beer”, which is vodka and root beer together. So they are a good team, given that plain vodka does not have an own taste, and adds a little boozy boost to every drink.

After you add the ice cream, it’s guaranteed to taste delicious. Some might even add a tad bit of whipped topping to make the recipe even sweeter.

What Mixes Well With Root Beer?

If you’re going to have an adult beverage, you might be wondering what tastes good with root beer. Clearly vodka and ice cream taste delicious. Some people also add gin or rum. Give each one a try and decide which one you like best.

Try out the plain versions of every hard liquor to use first. Pick a quality brand when you shop for it. They make a huge difference in taste!
