Chocolate Won Ton Pops

PS+Won+Ton+Roses+145
So… while I was making my Chocolate Won Ton Roses, I was getting frustrated and I got to brainstorming… Thinking about something that I had not seen before. And since I love sweets on a stick, I tried my hand at deep frying Chocolate on a stick!
But first, I have a confession – I had never deep fried anything!
I have never filled up a pot with oil, heated it up, and added food to it.
I had no idea how much fried food could stink up a house!
(Don’t say I didn’t warn you.)
But these little treats were a great way to try my hand at something new.

Here’s what you Need:
Won Ton Wrappers
Chocolates – I used Dove Dark Chocolates
1 egg + 1 tsp water for an Egg Wash
Lollipop sticks
Oil
Thermometer
Here’s what you Do:
Place you wrapper on the diagonal to form a diamond shape.
Place your lollipop stick on the wrapper about half way up and place the chocolate piece in the center of  the won ton wrapper.
Paint the egg wash around the edge of the won ton.

Fold over the top to form a triangle.
Then fold the sides forward again to bring the corners down.
Fold back the two sides( like wrapping a box) and pinch at the stick to secure it.

Heat the oil up to 375 Degrees F and submerge the pops in the oil for 30 seconds to one minute to cook.

I also made some with out stick…
I folded them a few different ways and just played with my food.
‘Cause, you know, I’m the Mom and I’m allowed to play with my food!
Now, go play with your food and ENJOY!
