Delectable Apple Hand Pies

These Hand Pies – or Turnovers – whichever you prefer, are so easy to make. They start off with a Puff Pastry Sheet. Then add the fresh fruit. Then seal up the sides and bake! Voila!

Once they are baked, you can leave them “naked”. Or… add some MORE sugar to the top! To me, that’s the only way a turnover should be!

    1. I absolutely LOVE aprons. I usually forget to put one at when I start, but somewhere in the middle of baking I remember and put one on. My kids love to help me and it would be so fun to have an apron for them!

    2. It depends. If I am wearing my 'nice' clothes then Yes I wear an apron. If I am in sweats, scrubs, worn-in 'comfies' then no I don't wear an apron. These turnovers looks so delish and they combine 2 of my favorite fruits!

    3. That looks DIVINE!!!!!!
**Please disregard my entries to the giveaway… I only saw after that it's for US Residents only. SORRY!!

    4. Puff pastry is amazing. It's a great tool to keep in the freezer. Good treats are only moments away with it. Thanks for the recipe, I have ripe peaches and pears and pastry in the freezer, looks like dessert.
