Father’s Day Cake Pops

Father’s Day is coming up in a few weeks, so I wanted to make some fun and easy cake pops for the occasion.
To be honest with you, I was kinda stumped for ideas. I had fishing and golfing ideas, but my husband isn’t into either one of those activities. So, I was playing around with my washi tape and make up with the idea of a tie.

I love how just the addition of the little tie totally changed the look of the pops. What fun! I used the Wilton Mustache Candies and I was done!
Talk about simple and easy!
Just little bald headed cake pops with big mustaches and a fancy tie on for work.

These turned out cuter than I thought. What do you think?
To make the ties, I took a 4 inch piece of washi tape and folded it half. Then I just cut out my desired shape, a smallish triangle at the top and a long tapered bottom. Once the pops were made and dry, I just used a small dab of glue to attach the tie to the lollipop stick.

I hope that you and all the Father’s in your life have a wonderful Father’s Day! I’m sure the Dad’s would enjoy these cake pops!
