So, I had some “extra” peanut butter cookie dough (not sure how that happened) and I was craving some ice cream…. So genius me…. Combined the two.
I made my homemade vanilla ice cream and added in little chunks of the cookie dough.
Form small-ish cookie dough balls and set into freezer while the ice cream is churning.
Add in the peanut butter cookie dough to the ice cream as you remove it from the ice cream bowl attachment and are filling up a Tupperware container.
Layer the dough and ice cream and then give it a quick turn before placing it into the freezer.
You can also just sprinkle the cookie dough on top of ice cream.
Just a few bites of heaven.
I was tempted to thin out the cookie dough and make it more like a ribbon in the ice cream, but I thought that would be saved for another time. Like with a chocolate ribbon all combined and yummy deliciousness just bursting in my mouth. Some combinations just can’t be beat.
Happy Baking!
