Pineapple Sherbet
Have you ever had a Dole Whip from Disney? No? Well, don’t worry, you don’t have to spend a small fortune at Disney to enjoy a refreshing pineapple sherbet! Fresh pineapple and a bit of milk in the food processor are all you need to make it at home.
What are your plans for the upcoming summer? I just realized that my kid has only six weeks of school left. I can’t believe that the school year is almost over. We’ve been making summer camp plans as well as plans for a tutor… She’s been having a lot of struggles reading and we don’t want to fall further behind.
We’re also talking about vacation, but not sure where to go yet… Any suggestions? We love little 3 or 4 day getaways.
To tell ya the truth, I’d love to get an RV and go around West Virginia. It’s such a beautiful state and I haven’t seen much of it. Never been to the capitol, never been to Big Rive Gorge or Organ Cave. There are so many beautiful parks, lakes, waterfalls, and Civil War Battlefields.
It would be a great learning trip for everyone involved. One of these years, we’re doing it!
It’s on the bucket list…. to be done before she reaches high school. Pinky Promise.
In the meantime, I’ll enjoy these all natural pineapple sherbet. I stock up on pineapple wedges from Costco, cut them into chunks, and freeze them for smoothies. This really is just a super thick smoothie and you can make it in 5 minutes with just two ingredients.
