Since I’m all about EASY, how about these easy Halloween Cupcakes for your weekend snack? They start off with your favorite cupcakes, then get a super funky frosting decoration and finally topped off with a Cadbury Screme Egg! So easy, so yummy, so packed full of sugar for all the crazy kids!
I love it!
You’ve gotta be a fan of the Easter Creme Egg to enjoy this treat. I personally love them and try my hardest not to induldge… but…for the sake of the blog, I just had to pick them up!
I only bought just the three to be safe and I promise that I did not eat them all.
Wanna know how I did the frosting? It’s so easy. You will need a clear Decorating Bag and an open star tip.
Cut 1 inch off at the point of the bag and add your tip. Press it in firmly (no I don’t use a coupler) and fold the large top over. Carefully add lines of food coloring the to bag. In this case, I alternated two purple lines and two green lines – four stripes: green, purple, green, purple.
Add your frosting and pipe away! I just went around three times to get it nice and tall.
The color will initially be very vivid and then will “soften” as it dilutes in the bag. You can see the difference in the one on the left and the one on the far right.
