I love fast and easy treats for school and parties.
The kids (and parents) love anything dipped in chocolate.
With some fun toppings, almost any cookie can be dipped in chocolate and decorated with some sprinkles. Color coordinate for a holiday BBQ, add them to your dessert table, or take them as a treat to the kids next play date or sports event.
Above are some Oreos that I dipped by hand, placed on a cookie sheet lines with wax paper and let my daughter add the sprinkles to.
These are Double Stuffed Oreo Pops. Don’t use the regular Oreos unless you are using wooden popsicle sticks. The lollipop sticks are just a bit too fat for regular Oreos.
Just stick them, chill them, dip and decorate them.
So easy!
My favorite treat is a Chocolate Dipped Pretzel Stick! There are so many different ways to decorate them for almost any occasion and they are sure to please taste buds.
I’ve chosen mini spring colored chips, mini marshmallows, and mini peanut butter cups to decorate these.
The trick to dipping long pretzel rods like these, is to use a deep cup. I use my Blue Dixie Cup 😉
Melt your chocolate in a bowl and then add it to the cup.
Dip the pretzel rod, scrape the bottom along the side of the cup and then place it on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.
Go crazy with the toppings!
I’ve even seen Star Wars themed parties with blue and red coated pretzel rods as Light Sabers!

Anything chocolate covered gets my approval. These all look wonderful!
Those Reese pretzels are my absolute favorite 🙂
All of those look so awesome. I love anything dipped in chocolate. Those Oreos on sticks where you drew the white, so genius!
Thanks Dorthy, I used Wilton White chocolate Pen to add it.
The oreos look so delicious! I was thinking adding some mint flavor may be a nice addition as well or piping little flowers on the sides for Spring. Thanks for posting 🙂
Get the Mint Oreos if you want mint flavored. I find the Wilton Mint chocolate is a bit strong and adding extract to the chocolate could seize it. Be sure to use oil based flavors NOT water based flavors.
I love your pretzels…especially the PB ones! Sweet and salty – a great combination.
Thanks for the tip on the double over single stuffed oreos for the lollipop sticks. I wouldn't have even considered it when I tried it myself. So thanks!
I've done it and broke too many. Granted, there was no evidence of my mistakes 🙂 Thanks for stopping by.
Your treats look so good! LOVE the Oreos!
These are great treats! And they look awesome
I especially like the pretzels
Those look so good. What a great idea! My daughters will love it!
Yum. I always add some chocolate dipped Oreos in Christmas cookie platters we give to friends. So much fun!!
Thanks for visiting Carol. Everyone LOVES Oreos and Chocolate, so sometimes, you've gotta combine them 🙂
So much yumminess I don't know where to start!
