How to Make Gerbera Daisy Cake Pops

While I’m on vacation, my friend Bob, from Take the Cake made some beautiful cake pops for you. These are pretty easy and straight-forward to you to make at home.

With summer in full swing and plenty of BBQ’s and parties to enjoy we wanted to share a fun and easy way to make the perfect Host or Hostess gift!

All you will need is the following to make this gorgeous centerpiece:
Cake pop dough for 7-8 pops
Silk Gerbera daisy flowers off the stem
    6 inch cake pop sticks
Flower pot with foam and crinkle paper inside

Start off making your basic cake pops on 6 inch sticks. Pick your favorite color for the center of the flower. Yellow is the choice for us. Dip your cake pops and add any decoration that you would like. We have gone with a fun swirl that adds texture to the pops. While these are drying you can prepare the flowers.

Take the silk flower off of the stem and remove the yellow center. Be sure to take off the greenery from the bottom of the flower.  This will help hold the petals into place. Give the yellow center a good tug. It will come out almost like a button with a stem.

Slowly slide the cake pop on your stick in the hole of the petals. Don’t worry if the petals separate. You can slide them on like a puzzle piece if needed.  Once all petals are in place slide on the plastic greenery on the bottom. This will hold the petals into place for your cake pops.

Once you have all your flowers set you are ready to arrange them in the flower pot. Make sure that you leave enough room between each flower so you are not crowding your centerpiece.

Now you have the perfect and one of a kind gift to start the party right!.  Simple and Elegant!

Have a fun and safe summer everyone!
