It’s time for COOKIES!! Cookies are totally my weakness! Completely. They take over my life when they are sitting out on the counter. These chocolate chip cookies with pretzel M&M’s were amazing. I loved the sweet and salty flavor of the cookies. They were so dangerous in the kitchen. Maybe I should say that I was a danger to them…
My husband took some to work with him and my daughter wouldn’t eat them with the M&M’s. So, that just left me to slowly devour all the cookies. Seriously, I have no control. It’s really sad.
I made my daughter some very expensive gluten free cookies and had to remind myself that they were NOT for me. I ended wrapping them up and freezing them just so I wouldn’t be tempted to sneak them. Out of sight, out of mind really works for me.
I guess that’s why I was so shocked to see all of my blogging props moved on to my office shelves. I didn’t realize how many I had. And to be honest, I still have a few things in the basement that need to be moved or purged. Have you seen my beautiful shelves? You can check them out on Instagram here.
Speaking of my studio… It’s coming along. I’m still missing a desk, but my Mr. Quart reassures me that once the weather warms up, he’ll get out his tools to cut and stain a table top to use. I’m still convinced that I need more shelves and I’d like to hang a glass cabinet to hold some of the smaller, more delicate accessories that I use. However, I have been using it for the past 6 weeks to take all my photos.
If you love a sweet and salty combination, give these a try. You can throw in coconut, dried fruit, or nuts to make them your own special cookies.
