This simple yet stunning pretty Valentine’s Cake is perfect for any day of the year that you want to tell someone “I love you”!
Pretty Valentine’s Cake
Oh My! Valentine’s Day is upon us! If you have completely put off EVERYTHING (ehem, like I have) don’t fret! You can still have a lovely dessert without making it from scratch. I love a simple box cake mix. I don’t think there is anything wrong with it. I even love canned frosting. It’s not a sin. So, I made this wonderfully simply and beautiful cake for our early Valentine’s Day dessert. It’s so simple, but turned out quite stunning. I loved this how this pretty Valentine’s Cake turned out.

All you’ll need to do is pick up a few things at the store:
- A Chocolate Cake (from a box)
- Vanilla Frosting (from a 1 1/2 cans)
- Red Hot Candies
- Peeps Hearts
Bake. Frost. Decorate. Eat!
And, while it’s baking… get your arts and crafts on!
I made this fun banner to decorate the cake. It’s made from straws, some twine, washi tape and stickers. I love simple stuff! Don’t you?
More things in life should be this simple!
Like Laundry.
And Doing the Dishes.
And getting my daughter to Brush her Teeth and Make her Bed!
Yes, can someone please stuff those things into a box and make life easy?

February 24, 2013 at 11:21 pmSimply stunning Karyn. In fact, I don't think it's simple at all, phenomenal is more of an apt word.
Also, I'm featuring you tonight on Sugar & Slice Sunday. Thanks for linking up. I hope you'll submit more this week. Thanks again.
