Simple Vanilla Milkshake Recipe

When recipes are quick and easy, I’m all over it! This simple Vanilla Milkshake Recipe takes three minutes to make (including clean up) with an immersion blender.

Simple Vanilla Milkshake Recipe

Do you come home from your day and just want to veg out on the couch? Just forget dinner and chores around the house? Sit back, put your feet up and relax with a favorite TV show or movie and just put the world on hold? I do.

I love unexpected nights like this. And what makes a good night even better is an amazing milkshake! A no-frills, basic, vanilla milkshake recipe that you can just slowly sip as you dissolve into your alter ego.

Add whipped cream, mini chocolate chips and a Pirouette Cookie.

No big blender to get out, an immersion blender works great for this. Simply blend and then wash it and it’s the perfect size for one sweet drink!

Now, of course, you can whip up your favorite flavor of milk and ice cream. Grab what you have in the freezer and treat yourself. Chocolate, strawberry, candy cane, rum raisin, mint chip – it’s ALL GOOD!

You can also spike your milkshake! Add a shot of vodka or rum and really relax! Add a dash of Baily’s or Kahula or add a shot Schnapps for some zing! It’s completely up to you how you want to make your milkshake. The point is just to make it.

Then hide from your kids or send them out with dad… or to the neighbors house… or lock them in their rooms with their video games. No matter what you do, just sit back and relax!

Make a Milkshake with an Immersion Blender

OXO was gracious to send me their new immersion hand blender to try out. I’ve used other hand blenders, but I really liked the light-up feature and the handle was comfortable to use. The mixer easily detaches from the motor for easy washing. It comes with a 3 cup container with a lid, so you can make a smoothie and store half of it for later.

I'm making myself this Vanilla Milkshake for dessert tonight! It's quick and easy with my immersion blender.

Now wasn’t that fast? I made this simple vanilla milkshake recipe in under 2 minutes in real time. For me, the best part is the easy clean up and that it doesn’t take up a lot of room on the drying rack. Don’t believe me?

This quick and easy Vanilla Milkshake is the BOMB! No frills, no, crazy ingredients. Just ice cream, milk, and some chocolate for fun!
