Grab your kids, some Spring Oreo Cookies and Easter decorations to make these fun and easy Easter Oreo Pops!
Easy Oreo Easter Pops
Hurry, Hurry!!
Easter is around the corner!
I know you’re swamped with a million other things to do, the kids are home during Spring Break, you’re working late, the cat is sick, the in-laws are coming, the bathroom needs cleaning, something is “growing” fuzz in the back of your fridge and all you want to do is sleep for the next 24 hours!
Oh, wait… is that just me?
I feel like I’ve got a million things to do sometimes and nothing seems to ever get done.
Know that feeling?
Well, hopefully, this little edible “Arts and Crafts” project will keep the kiddos busy long enough to let you take a minute to actually eat lunch and catch up on Instagram.
I found this little pack of edible Easter Confetti at Target.
Team it up with some Spring Oreos, popsicle sticks, candy melts and sprinkles and you’ve got yourself a fun Easter Treat!
Melt the Candy Melts according to directions. (well, mostly the directions… I suggest using 70% power and lots and lots of stirring.)
Simply “open” the Oreos, dip the stick into the candy, place it on the creme center and then close the cookie again. Do this to as many cookies as you would like.
I made them at Christmas as well, you can see the tutorial with photos
HERE.
Dip the Oreo completely or partially into the candy, allow the excess to drip off, add the edible confetti and sprinkles.
Lay flat to dry.
You can skip the stick and just dip the cookie, if you prefer.
Super Easy!
Super Fun!
Mix and Match Oreo filling colors and candy melts. Pink, Blue, Sprinkle, Brown, Red (at Christmas time) and of course, White.
Enjoy! We sure did!
